Delete Your Account

Delete it yourself, in the app

1. Open CourtSide and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm Delete permanently.

The account is deleted immediately. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Request deletion by email

Email utkarshg08@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We verify that the request comes from the account's own email address, delete the account, and confirm by reply — normally within 7 days, and at most 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in (email address and Google sign-in link).
• Your profile: display name, username, age, playing hand, and profile picture.
• Your friendships and friend requests.
• Your club memberships and pending join requests.
• Your notification token, so this device stops receiving push notifications.
• All CourtSide data cached on your device.

What is kept, and why

Clubs, sessions, tournaments and matches you created stay for the other players who took part — they are shared records of games those people played, and deleting them would erase other people's data. Your name is removed from them: the creator reference is cleared, so nothing points back to your account.

Player names typed into a match scoresheet by another member of your club belong to that club's record and remain with it. Anonymized crash diagnostics held by Sentry contain no account data and are retained under Sentry's own retention schedule.
